“As stewards of this sacred building, we are committed to provide a cooperative environment for arts, cultural, and spiritual activities that enrich lives.”

For over a century Historic Grant Avenue has been a place where people within the community could meet, play, eat, and sing together. From the early years of the Methodist Episcopal Church, to the creation of a “Center for Community Service” in 1919, people from around the community have found a home here.

Whether the early basketball leagues that shared the gymnasium (Now the Historic Theater), or teenagers making music with the School of Rock, Historic Grant Avenue is a place to meet!
